WAYNE
worked at Pringle Electrical Contractors for nine years, starting on a five-year
City and Guilds apprenticeship at Burton College, and then completed another
two years at Derby College to get his Electrical Technician qualification.
He completed a two-year night school course for alarm installations, a course
on portable appliance testing and a two-year 2-400 design, erection and
verification of electrical installation course. As with all technical work,
he still has regular courses to attend to keep up to current regulations.
JANET,
after helping set up the company, went on to acquire a diploma in accounting,
then after having four of the best children in the world (bit biased) she
went to Derby University and acquired a law degree and went on to finish
with a masters law degree. Jan looks after the office including invoicing,
health and safety and payroll etc.
CRAIG attended
Heanor College on a five-year apprenticeship and is an approved electrician.
He began his employment with us in 1999 and has a superb attitude towards
his work. He will very often go beyond what can be expected of him to achieve
the standards that we adhere to.
RICHARD
attended Burton College on a five-year apprenticeship and is currently an
electrician. He began his employment with us in 2003 after a week’s
trial period, and we have not been able to shake him off since, an indication,
perhaps, of his determination to see the job through to the end.
SIMON attended
Burton College and has recently completed his five-year apprenticeship and
has now qualified as fully approved electrician. He started with us
in 2005 after attending work experience with us through Chellaston School.
